Texas born singer, songwriter, and musician
Carol grew up with music -- playing gospel songs and hymns with her dad, hamming it up in school musicals and plays, and belting it out in band and choir. After graduating from high school, Carol received a full music scholarship to Sam Houston State University.
As a young adult, Carol became active in the Houston music scene, and soon gained a reputation as a sought-after entertainer. She later moved with her family to the small, historic town of Brenham, formed a band, and traveled as a road musician for a national pub chain.
Eventually, Carol tired from the grinds of being on the road, and came back to Brenham to build a single act. She wrote and recorded the regional hit "Winkelmann, Texas," as well as a catalog of original material.
She covers artists from Merle Haggard to Stevie Nicks to Pink Floyd.
Carol is a fun and uniquely talented live entertainer. Her act showcases her exceptional musical versatility and skill, and creates a memorable experience in any performance venue.
